Homeschool C.A.R.E. Foundation (HCF) was founded by HomeLife Academy (HLA) in 2018 as a nonprofit 501(c)3. Both organizations work closely together to support, guide and encourage homeschooling students and families around the world. HCF is located in the HLA administrative offices in Jackson, Tennessee and is the charitable arm of HLA.
HCF is focused on serving homeschooling families by offering counseling services, mentorship, resources, and financial support through giving and scholarships. Over the past few year, trends have begun to develop and the prevalent reason for homeschooling is no longer due to deeply held religious beliefs and convictions. Families feel that the school systems are failing them due to bullying, safety, or failing grades. Families may need more flexibility when faced with physical illness or special needs. HCF’s desire is to help those families who want the best for their children buy may not feel equipped with the tools and resources they need to succeed.
